Salesforce Notification: Chrome 80 introduces a new default value for cookie attribute

Salesforce Notification sent out in January 2020:
Salesforce sent out communication about Google Chrome 80 which said “Chrome 80 introduces a new default value for cookie attribute: “SameSite=Lax”. (Previously, the SameSite cookie attribute defaulted to “SameSite=None”.) • Cookies won’t work for non-secure (HTTP) browser access. You should use HTTPS instead.”

We have researched this and our apps won’t be impacted with this release as they do not use or rely on cookies.
