Activate Your Opero Fax Account

Install Opero Fax
- Go to the Opero Fax app listing on AppExchange and click the “Get It Now” button: https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N3000000B5FogEAF
- Follow installation steps.
Authorize Opero Fax
- Once you have the app installed, go to the app launcher and open the Opero Fax app.
- Open the tab “Fax Configuration”.
- Enter an alert email. this is where you email alerts from Opero Fax are sent if there is an issue updating the Sent Fax or Received Fax records in your Salesforce org.
- Click the “Grant Access” button.
- This grants site wide access, so it only needs to be performed once.
- Carefully review the next section Set User Permissions for specific access and permissions users need in order to use the app.
- You will be prompted to allow Opero Fax to access your Salesforce org so that the Opero Fax server can update the status of your Sent Fax and Received Fax records.
- Once you grant access and refresh the screen, a trial fax number will be displayed next to “Available Fax Numbers”.
- This trial fax number provides 20 inbound/outbound trial fax pages that are available for up to 15 days.
- When the 20 pages are used or the 15 days have passed, the trial ends and fax number is released.
- If a user attempts to send a fax and the number of pages exceeds the available trial pages, it will remain in “sending” status and the fax will not be sent.
- When the trial ends or you are ready to activate your Opero Fax account, complete the activation form: Activate Your Opero Fax Account . As part of the activation process, you’ll be able to select whether to request a new fax number or port over your existing fax number.
